The Isla Vista Co-Op

I've written about them before - this fabulous little co-op in Isla Vista with the most extensive organic, locally grown, sustainable selection of any market in the Santa Barbara area.  Joining the Co-Op will get you a 10% discount, but the market is open to the public as well.  Since our discovery, Boyfriend and I rarely shop anywhere else.  Our time has become so precious at this point, that knowing that we can go in to ONE place, find EVERYTHING we could need, have every staff member help us, answer questions and check us out like it's the happiest place on earth...

But here's the CAKE:  When stopping in the store one night a couple of weeks ago, I stopped an employee for some help pointing me toward a particular item.  She led me through a couple of aisles trying to find it, quick enough, but apologized that she couldn't be quicker, that she was the marketing manager and didn't normally work the floor.  So I told her how much I appreciated her time, and how much I loved the store, and that I used it as my nutritional medicine cabinet because I have cancer, and I'm trying to keep my body as healthy as possible.  And that I've written about the Co-Op on my blog because I want other people to know how great it is!  

That was were she asked me about my blog.  And I invited her to INCREDITUDE.  And she told me that the Co-Op would provide all the food necessary to feed everyone at my party.  And I cried.
